Women's Mitra Day
Saturday 1 February 2020 – Sunday 2 February 2020
A day for all women Mitras.
An opportunity for women Mitras to enjoy each other's company and strengthen our friendships as the women's Mitra sangha.
The programme is centred around personal talks and discussions about one particular aspect of our Dharma life. Topics include: having faith, going for refuge, keeping the precepts, 37 wings of Enlightenment, and making offerings to the Buddhas.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a Mitra?
Yes. This is a day for women who are Mitras or Order Members.
I'm not a very good cook - what food can I bring?
We can never have enough of the basics: things like salad, bread, hummus, crisps and fruit always go down well.
Do I need to book?
No - just turn up! The day is open to all women.
I can't make the whole day - can I come for just some of it?
Of course! Many people who come for half the day will come just for the morning, leaving at lunch time, or the other way around. But you're welcome to come for whatever parts of the day you can make - just try to turn up at one of the times on the programme so we're not in the middle of an activity.
How much does the day cost?
All of our events are run on a donation basis. There is no set charge, we just ask you to give what you can to support the day.
