New Beginners Course Tools for Living Your Life
These Saturday morning sessions will be suitable for anyone seeking a meaningful spiritual path while living everyday lives full of family, work and friends.
Clear explanations of key Buddhist teachings will be given as well as guidance on how to apply these while living our lives.
Two meditation practices will be introduced. Each session will include an introduction to meditation, followed by practical instruction of a key Buddhist topic.
The topics will include :
- Life is a precious opportunity
- Mindfulness – knowing yourself
- Developing kindly awareness
- Taking practice into the world
- Livelihood as a support for our practice
- Coursing the worldly winds
We hope that you can make each session but if that is not possible, come along when you can – each morning will be designed to ‘stand alone’ and be complete in itself.
There will be a tea break mid way through the morning.
