Mens Great Gathering online from Padmaloka
Friday 19 February 2021 – Sunday 21 February 2021 at Padmaloka Mens Retreat Centre
'...in all schools of Buddhism, very great importance is attached to human life: human life for Buddhism represents a great opportunity - a marvellous opportunity, because in this life there is the possibility that one could attain this state of ultimate, of transcendental centrality which we call Buddhahood.'
Sangharakshita - Psycho Spiritual Symbolism in the Tibetan Book of the Dead
These are a set of teachings hidden by the Vajra Guru, Padmasambhava, for a time when men will understand and benefit from them. They are a set of crucial instructions which illuminate the actions to be undertaken by the practitioner when in the intermediate states of existence - life, dream, meditation, death, reality and rebirth.
These clear and vital teachings are exactly what is needed in times of sickness, uncertainty and death; we need a clear map of how to navigate this terrain spiritually, for our own benefit and for others.
As well as meditations, pujas and discussion groups, there will be a talk on the theme by Padmavajra, an interview with Aloka on the theme
