Men's Day: The Five Aspects of the Dharma Life - Integration

Men's Day: The Five Aspects of the Dharma Life - Integration

Sunday 12 February 10:30am – 4:30pm

The theme of this years Men's Days will be the Five Aspects of the Dharma Life.

We will be exploring the principles behind Integration, Positive Emotion, Spiritual Receptivity, Spiritual Death, and Spiritual Rebirth, looking at their deeper significance and how we can apply them to our own lives.

We hope this will be a rich and illuminating set of days, which will include talks, discussion, meditation, ritual and food.

'Buddha is your mind
And the way goes nowhere.

Don't look for anything but this.

If you point your cart north,

When you want to go south,

How will you arrive?'

Please bring vegetarian or vegan food to share.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I just come to the morning or afternoon session?

Yes you can, although it is good to arrive at the start of one of the sessions or at lunch time. Of course the more you engage with this programme the more you will get out of the day.

Is this event suitable for newcomer's?

Everyone is welcome. However if you are new to meditation then you may find our newcomers class is a better place for you to start off.

What food should I bring for lunch?

Vegan or vegetarian food for a shared lunch. Things like salad, bread, crisps, cake etc.

Is there parking available?

As we are in the town centre we do not have onsite parking, the nearest car parks are Britannia and Napier Road.

We are also directly opposite the town train station and serviced by good bus links.

Bikes can be locked to the railings at the back of the building.
