Day event for those training for Ordination exploring the importance of faith
Saturday 16 January 2021 – Sunday 17 January 2021
This is an event to explore the importance of faith within the spiritual life. The day will consist of an introduction to faith, opportunities to discuss our understanding and experience of faith in small groups of Mitras. There will also be some related ritual as part of the day.
Additionally for those who have been introduced to the Going for Refuge and Prostration Practice, Sthiranaga will be leading this practice during an extra afternoon session. Please confirm that you have been introduced to the practice at either Tiratnaloka or Padmaloka when booking.
Please note this event is only open to men and women who have asked for Ordination.

Is this event open to anyone?
No. This is an event exclusively for those who Mitras who have asked for Ordination into the Triratna Buddhist Order.
Do I need to read anything or listen to anything in advance of the event?
No. However it may help to reflect in advance on your current understanding and experience of faith.
Do I need to book?
Yes please. There is no charge at the time of booking but having knowledge of the numbers of people intending to come will help us in ensuring that we can best support you during the event.
