Online Men's Day: 'For the benefit and welfare of gods and men'

Online Men's Day: 'For the benefit and welfare of gods and men'

Sunday 27 June 2021 12:30am – 6:30am

Please join us for a day exploring the theme of altruism and generosity, as a path of practise.

The day will include meditation, Puja, talks and discussion.

Rousing his disciples, the Buddha said 'wander, monks for the blessing of the many, for the happiness of the many, out of compassion for the world, for the benefit and welfare, blessing and happiness of gods and men.'

And Sangharakshita says 'we can only solve our own problems by taking those of others into account. The practise of sila [ethics] must always be accompanied by dana [generosity].'

We will be very pleased if you can join us for the day, to explore how these ideas can help us transform ourselves.

The Men's Day will be held online. There is no need to book, just come along and join in.
