Dharma Day, held on the July full moon, celebrates the Buddhas first teaching, setting in motion as it did, the ‘Wheel of the Dharma’. 

Join us for a day of practice, to celebrate the Buddha Dharma. The day will consist of meditation, talks and discussion, and Puja.

Can I just come for part of the day?

Yes, please check the programme and join the day at a break so as not to cause disruption.

How much does the event cost?

There is no charge for this event.

However any donations towards our running costs are gratefully welcomed and can be made via the donations tab of the website.

Do I need to be a Buddhist to come?

No. But please be aware that there will be some Buddhist ritual to end the day.

Do I need to know how to meditate?

Yes, there will be some longer meditation sits during this day, If you would like to learn to meditate then we run a number of classes suitable for beginners that may be more suitable for you.
