Meditation Day
Saturday 9 January 2021 – Sunday 10 January 2021
The perfect opportunity to kick start your meditation after the festive period with a full day of practice.
The day will incorporate different meditation practices. including; Mindfulness of breathing, Metta bhavana, walking meditation, and a visualisation practice. There will be some Buddhist ritual to end the day.

This day is suitable for anyone who is familiar with the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana meditations
How much does this day cost?
We do not charge for our classes, however any donations towards the running costs of Colchester Buddhist Centre are gratefully received.

What is puja?
Buddhist ritual is known as puja. The word 'puja' can be translated as 'reverence, homage, and worship'. Acts of puja include making traditional offerings of candles, incense and flowers, chanting and bowing.
Can I come to just part of the day?
Yes you are welcome to attend the sessions that you are able / wish to. We do however ask that you are mindful of the programme when you join and try to attend during a break in the schedule so as not to disrupt any activities.
