Exploring the Buddha's teaching of emptiness

Exploring the Buddha's teaching of emptiness

Sunday 13 April 10:30am – 4:30pm

Some 700 years after the Buddha died, the brilliant Indian philosopher-monk Nagarjuna founded the Madhyamaka tradition with emptiness as its central tenet. However, his philosophy was firmly based on what the Buddha taught. On the day we'll explore the Buddha's original teaching of emptiness as recorded in the Pali Canon.

All are welcome! There's no charge for the day, but it would help us to know who is coming, so please book on the website if you can.

Bring vegan/vegetarian food to share for lunch.
