Introduction to Meditation & Buddhism in Colchester
Please note there is a break in the course - 8th April for the Easter bank holiday. Therefore the course will end Saturday 29th April.
During the course you will learn the two Buddhist meditation practices: Mindfulness of Breathing, for developing awareness, integration and clarity of mind; and Mettā Bhāvanā (“development of loving kindness”), which brings about a gentle but radical transformation of our emotional world.
In addition to learning meditation, we will introduce traditional teachings of the Buddha in a way that is accessible and practical to everyday life in the modern world.
Spaces are limited, and booking in advance is required.
The cost for the whole 6 week course is £40.
