We have been teaching Buddhism and meditation in Colchester for over 35 years.
The class teams are volunteers who give their time and energy to share the Buddha's teachings.
Colchester Buddhist Centre is run on generosity.
We think it is important that we do not charge people to access Buddhist teachings so we do not charge for our regular classes. We simply ask that those who are able to make a donation towards our running costs.

A Mitra ceremony is a public ceremony in the Triratna Buddhist community where people declare their intention to practice Buddhism.
