Young Buddhist's Day Retreat
Sunday 14 June 10:30am – 4:30pm
This day is open to anyone aged 18-35 and is led by Nāgaśūra and Amaladasa who lives at Padmaloka and has been leading several retreats for Young Buddhists across the UK. This is a rare opportunity to join him on a day retreat in Colchester.

What is the age group for the young people's group?
Everyone aged between 18 - 35 is welcome
Can I come if I'm under 18?

Do I need to be a Buddhist?
No, anyone is welcome. Please be aware that there will often be some Buddhist ritual practice involving chanting, mantras and making lit candle offerings. There is no expectation that you take part in the ritual if you do not wish to do so.
I'm quite new to your classes, can I come to this?
Yes of course, the event is suitable for all levels of experience.
I don't attend the Colchester Centre but attend another Centre, is it still ok to come?
Yes, all young people are welcome and we often have friends from neighbouring Buddhist Centres attending.
How much does the event cost?
There is no charge, however we always welcome donations towards our running costs.
