Online Sangha Mornings

Online Sangha Mornings

This is a weekly online session put in place in response to Government guidelines following the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Building on the success of our Dharma Mornings this new online class seeks to offer an opportunity for our Sangha to come together.

Suitable for experienced and new Sangha members alike we will be offering two meditation classes to accommodate those who need more instruction and guidance as well as those who wish to deepen their practice.

In the second half of the class we will introduce an aspect of Buddhism with two talks; one for those exploring Buddhism for the first time and another to help those with experience retain the cutting edge of their practice.

Classes are free but your donations are greatly appreciated. Make an online donation here

We introduce traditional teachings of the Buddha in a way that is accessible and practical to everyday life in the modern world.

We tend to focus on a particular aspect of Buddhism in a series which lasts several weeks. While you are welcome to start coming at any point, you will get the most out of the class by coming to an entire series.

We teach two Buddhist meditation practices: Mindfulness of Breathing, for developing awareness, integration and clarity of mind; and Mettā Bhāvanā (“development of loving kindness”), which brings about a gentle but radical transformation of our emotional world. Each week we alternate between the two practices.

Join the full class via Zoom or watch the talk live on YouTube

However if you would simply like to watch a Live Stream of the talk you can do this via our YouTube Channel. The talk normally starts at 11.40am and will be between 25-30 minutes in duration.
